On his 16th birthday, Himari Momochi received a letter stating that he inherited a large house called “Momochi House.” After being raised at the orphanage, this big house is the one that is left from the original family, so Himari No matter the rumors that it might be haunted. After entering it, he met Aoi Nanamori and his friends, Ise and Yukari, all of whom seemed to be squatting in his new home. Although they warned him to leave home, Himari vowed to be the person who made them leave.

But soon, he was attacked by Youkai and learned that the house was in the space between the living world and the spirit realm. Even more surprising, Aoi was chosen to be a house guard – the position originally intended for Himari. But this great power comes at a terrible price: Aoi will never be able to leave a mansion, and its existence in the human world has been removed. Ignoring his request for him to leave the mansion, Himari promised to help Aoi break the curse at home when he began to live under the same roof as him.
