Alma is a self-learning robot that was specially designed for combat by two brilliant scientists, Enji Kamisato and Suzume Yobane. They both work together on the Alma as Enji worked on her Artificial Intelligence while Suzume handles other robotics. After being mocked by their co-workers, they team up together to prove them wrong about their project.
Most of the time, they argue with each other about the world, and this brings them closer to each other. There was quite an affectionate relationship between them that was not even unseen by this robot, Alma. She began to notice their bond and finally started to understand human emotion and nature, especially love.
